Thread Repair Kits

Our thread repair kits are generally available from stock in a variety of styles, thread forms and sizes.

All our thread repair kits are supplied in high quality robust hinged boxes and include close tolerance high speed steel wire insert taps.

They are normally supplied with free running inserts, however, screw locking types can be supplied if required.

Metric Hex Repair Kit

Single size, easy to use, comprehensive thread repair kit. Available for either metric coarse (M3 to M12 Inclusive), or metric sparking plug threads (M10, M12, M14).

Each Kit includes H.S.S. drill & tap, threaded inserting mandrel with universal 1/4 hexagon drive, a quantity of aircraft quality stainless steel inserts and a manual tang break punch.

Ideal for automotive type repairs or applications with limited access.

Each kit is supplied in a compact box with hinged lid and full instructions. Replacement inserts are readily available.

Single size economic thread repair kit includes plain mandrel screwdriver inserting tool, high speed steel wire insert tap, a quantity of free running inserts and a manual tang break punch

Sparking Plug Kits

Specifically designed for the repair of damaged sparking plug threads, these kits include a unique easy to use pilot nose high speed steel tap, production type pre-wind inserting tool and a selection of various length inserts.

Available for ISO Metric unified or British Standard threads, each professional workshop range kit covers a series of thread diameters.

Range kits include a quick change multi-size production pre-wind inserting tool, a range of high speed steel wire insert taps, a quantity of each size of insert and a range of manual tang break punches.

Replacement inserts for any size or type of repair kit are readily available from stock and as for most of our other products, there are no minimum order values or quantities.
